One of the successful story - Kara Clinic
Dorothy Musatwe was diagnosed with HIV in 2005. During the assessment for eligibility her CD4 count was 41. She was enrolled for care at Kara clinic and started on ARV drugs. She was also diagnosed with TB and started on TB treatment. As you will understand Dorothy was very very sick. Her body weight when she started treatment was 38,6kg.
Dorothy has improved tremendously since she started treatment at Kara. She is now the happy mother of 2 healthy children and weighs 70 kg. She looks very fit and stable and is adhering to therapy.
